The last Foray of the year for the Mango and this mixed bag of characters. The Cornwall crew, Dave and Lucius returned for their annual adventure minus Baz who had unfortunately injured himself back at home not long before the trip, we missed you this year mate. Ed, the self exiled Ozzie all the way from Switzerland where he spends most of his time hang gliding off the Alps, was on an extended tropical surf mission throughout Indo including Bali, Mentawais and Nias. Hope you scored some good oil up there at Lagundi to mate! Neil from Palm beach finally reunited with his quiver, made do with some of the Skipper’s kit for the first couple of days, scored himself plenty of waves and a 1st class trip home as compensation from Qantas for their oversight, and Kenno, back for his second trip of the year, anticipating a little breeze, packed his kite surfer again, and this time round found the air he was looking for!
No shortage of good humoured banter, a couple of late season swells, and a solid clean Giant Trevally provided enough ceviche n barbecue for 3 meals with this crowd of five. With a variety of weather conditions including some challenging combinations for the Foxy Lady to shine as the key to fast relocation, sneaking in the sessions, other charter boats invariably miss. Thanks fellas, enjoyed the company once again.
Cheers Captain Mark
