Surprised to see Spence back on board Mango so soon for this April Mentawai jaunt. Having only just shared a quality 2 man wave feast with him on reeling perfect lefts in January, I guess he just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have another crack. Certainly put in the lion’s share of water-time again this trip to ensure a solid wave count. Also great to finally meet Hady’s bro, Chris (the original fish taco team member) for his first Mango adventure, along with all the rest of the crew, Bill n Ben, Phil, Dave and Alan. Ben caught his quota, popping and trolling, with lots of fresh fish hitting the BBQ and sashimi plates. Some big clean Trevally, Coronation Trout, Spanish Mackerel and a beautiful Mahi Mahi. Plenty of fun waves on our own as our guaranteed pledge to seek out and come up with the goods every trip. Mango living up to her name as one of the hardest working wave chasing teams out there in the islands. Cheers fellas.
