"It is now Friday afternoon in Santa Monica. I returned late Monday night after I decided to skip my layover in Taipei… feeling blissful when I got back to LA because of a wonderful vacation.

We've had waves here all week. Decent for Malibu, which means chest high on the sets, super crowded, but fun little peelers. Nothing like the head high to double overhead macking perfection that we experienced in the Telo Islands!

I have traveled the world and surfed many of the world-class breaks. Upon reflection, this was the greatest surf trip ever, not only because of the epic waves, but because of the people and the magical environment in which we thrived. It was great to meet each and every one of you, mostly lawyers, but all of you have indeed the Spirit of a surfing lawyer! Memories will be forever etched in my mind about that wonderful week at latitude zero with latitude Larry! I was particularly inspired by our awards dinner in the wonderful songs and speeches made mostly by barristers.

From the bottom of my heart, thank each and every one of you for making this surf journey so incredibly special! After all, all of us surfers are joined by one ocean!"
