Former two-time ASP world surfing champion Tom Carroll and world champion Martin Potter are in the lineup to join some of Australia’s top chefs for the Surfing Chefs for SurfAid cocktail party at The Bucket List in Bondi on Wednesday 11 March.
The event, which raises funds for award winning humanitarian aid organisation, SurfAid, promises to be an amazing evening of gourmet food and fine wine prepared by Tom Walton (The Bucket List Bondi) and Russell Blaikie (Must Wine Bar Perth), and their team of award-winning celebrity chefs, who share a common passion for surfing.
The Surfing Chefs, who all donate their work, will serve up an exquisite multi-course degustation menu sourced from the finest local produce.
Alongside Tom Walton and Russell Blaikie, the chef lineup includes Ben O’Donoghue (Billy Kart Kitchen Brisbane), Guy Turland (Bondi Harvest), Ian Oakes (Drake Eatery Bondi), Monty Koludrovic (Icebergs Bondi), Peter Doyle (Est. Establishments Sydney), Simon Zalloua (Sefa Kitchen Bondi), Tony Howell (Aravina Estate Margaret River), Zac Pauling (Bondi Bowling Club Bondi), Craig Ferrier (Cranky Fins Palm Beach) and Stephen Scott (Charing Cross Hotel Waverley).
Former pro surfer and Bondi Rescue legend, Rod Kerr and WSL local shredder, Perth Standlick will join Tom Carroll in swapping their wetsuits for chef jackets and join the team as our guest surfing chefs!
