Date: 15.08.24
Swell: 6 ft @ 210°
Wave Frequency: 15 sec
The new swell arrived with light and variable winds and the Latitude Zero guests scored Telo Island perfection. 5 – 6 hrs of consistent waves had the boys hooting and cheering with a couple of “best sessions of my life” calls around the pool while enjoying cold beers and warm sausage rolls. Regular and goofies were all satisfied with tubes, turns, and genuine stoke. We have some sore bodies after the barrage of high quality waves, but the guests are ready to track down some more Telo gold.
The back half of the week looks to slow down a touch, but we will still be on the hunt for the Sumatran bliss we all know and love. This will be temporary as the long range forecast is stacked with back to back swells and some favorable winds. The Indian Ocean has come back to life after a sleepy July, and we are waiting with open arms. Check back with us on Monday and share the magic.
