Terms & Conditions

TRAVEL INSURANCE IS COMPULSORY

  • Comprehensive travel insurance is compulsory and must include MedEvac option and compensation for lost trip days and nights due to unforeseen circumstances or emergencies.
  • A copy of your travel insurance document must be submitted to your booking agent prior to departure and details of your policy MUST be carried with you to Latitude Zero.
  • Please be sure that your insurance policy you have selected also includes the ‘Cancellation and additional expenses’ clause, which covers trip cancellation costs if you can’t travel because one of your travelling party, close relatives or business partner has fallen ill, become injured or passed away.
 
  • Latitude Zero is not liable for any losses or damages due to events beyond their reasonable control including without limitation: acts or orders of governmental authorities; weather; fire; flood; earthquake; volcanic activity; lightning; airline delays or cancellations for any reason; utility outages; strike, lockout, or work stoppage; terrorism; or any event typically described as “force majeure” or an “act of God.”

BOOKINGS

  • Bookings must be made via Equator Surf Travel consultants, who will be with you immediately answering any of your questions. ( info@resortlatitudezero.com )
  • A Deposit of 25% per person (total invoiced amount) transferred into the Equator Surf Travel bank account is required to secure resort dates.
  • Bookings are held for 72 hours.
  • All deposits non-refundable.
 
  • Transfer of deposit to Equator Surf Travel confirms your acknowledgement and acceptance of all terms and conditions.

PAYMENT

  • Balance of payments is due 90 days prior departure.
  • All monies paid are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a future date under certain conditions and with at least 60 days notice.
  • Confirmation of bookings and deposits will be sent via email once monies have arrived into EST bank account.
  • All prices quoted do not include any international or domestic fares.
  • There are no refunds of any kind given for poor surf, inclement weather, airline related delays or cancellations and late departures from designated trip date or itinerary.
  • In Addition, there are no refunds given for reasons pertaining to unstable global, national, or local political or natural conditions that do not directly pose a threat to the safe operations of Latitude Zero.

AIRLINE RELATED INFORMATION

  • As you will be travelling to one of the most remote surf regions in the world that is occasionally hampered by unstable local politics, infrastructure and natural disasters please ensure the Airline tickets you purchase in advance are through an airline which is flexible with date change and destination changes and has a minimal cancellation policy.  Again as per items under Payment – “There are no refunds of any kind given for poor surf, inclement weather, airline related delays or cancellations and late departures from designated trip date or itinerary. In addition, there are no refunds given for reasons pertaining to unstable global, national or local political or natural conditions that do not directly pose a threat to the safe operations of Latitude Zero .”
  • When guest agree to terms and conditions of travel to Latitude Zero they travel at their own risk.

TRANSIT, TRANSFERS AND ACCOMMODATION

  • Latitude Zero will provide airport-hotel-airport transfers in Padang as part of the package price for Telo Island Resort  & airport pickup service at Bima airport for Nusa Tenggara Resort.
  • Latitude Zero is not responsible for ANY accommodation or incidental costs in transit to our resorts
  • Should Latitude Zero I Telo Islands transfer flight be unable to operate due to unfavourable weather conditions or mechanical problems, guests will be accommodated at Latitude Zero or Padang until next available flight. Latitude Zero will not offer a refund or compensation if this happens.
  • Should the plane be unable to fly due to non weather related issues, transfer will be carried out by charter boat or alternate means at reasonable time as conditions allow. Latitude Zero will not offer a refund or compensation if any of the above happens.

INTERNATIONAL AND DOMESTIC TRANSFERS

  • Latitude Zero will not be held liable for any lost or damage to any luggage.
  • Latitude Zero does not accept responsibility for late arrival or non-arrival of surfboards, surfboard bags, diving equipment.
  • Latitude Zero does not accept liability for missed flights, delayed departures of flights or transfer of destination.
  • Any group/individual who misses there connection to Latitude Zero Resorts due to cancelled /delayed or missed flights will only be transferred to Latitude Zero at an additional charge equal to the cost of this transfer/handling.
  • Costs associated with assistance of transfer will be at the expense of guests.
  • Latitude Zero accepts no liability or expenses for missed/cancelled or delayed international or domestic flights and Latitude Zero transfer flights.
  • Changes to guest’s flights and or accommodation, or any additional ground handling will be at the expense of guests.

Land Purchase and Competing Operations

  • Guests agree not to purchase any land or property within a 100km radius of Latitude Zero Surf Resorts for the purpose of establishing a competing resort, holiday house or similar operation.

  • Guests further agree not to engage in any business activities that may directly compete with the services provided by Latitude Zero Surf Resorts within the specified radius.

Non-Solicitation of Staff

  • Guests are prohibited from soliciting, hiring, or attempting to hire any staff employed by Latitude Zero Surf Resorts during or after their stay for a period of two years.

Confidentiality and Trade Secrets

  • Guests acknowledge that the resort may share certain confidential information and trade secrets during their stay. They agree not to disclose, reproduce, or use such information for personal or competitive purposes.

Confidentiality - Nusa Tenngara Resort

  • Guests agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the location, facilities, and any other details related to the Nusa Tenngara Resort. This includes refraining from posting any content on social media platforms that could disclose the location or specifics of Nusa Tenngara Resort.

Harassment of Staff

  • Latitude Zero Surf Resorts is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all staff members. Guests are strictly prohibited from engaging in any form of harassment, including but not limited to verbal, physical, or visual harassment of resort staff. Harassment can include offensive jokes, slurs, intimidation, or any unwelcome attention.

  • Any guest found in violation of this policy may be asked to leave the resort immediately, and legal action may be pursued if necessary.
