Amazing Wildlife

After a few waves yesterday morning, we had a spectacular encounter with the Rhincodon Typus, better known as a Whale Shark.

The 4-meter inquisitive beauty hung out with us for over half an hour checking out and circling the boat before moving on its way again on its original course.

Although not unheard of in Sumatra, the close encounter was still a rare and thrilling treat to accompany the many whale and dolphin sightings and meetings recently in Telo during February & March this year.
