After a short 50-minute scenic morning flight from the mainland, this week’s arriving resort guests quickly slipped into the holiday groove and straight into some head high Sumatran waves by lunch time.
The following day turned it on for the new arrivals, and despite a disappointing swell forecast on paper it is smiles all round at the moment- perfect seasonal February weather and no wind continues to keep all the exposed swell magnet favourites open and the quality sessions flowing.
Things are still shaping up nicely for a fresh licking of Indian Ocean gold over the coming weekend which should open up some of the lesser exposed reef breaks and tucked away Telo Island gems.
