Our awesome run of swell through February appears to be easing and as we roll on into the first week of March it looks like Huey is finally taking a rest.
The majority of the mighty Indian Ocean is doing a good impersonation of “Lake Indian” at the moment and not a lot of quality swell forecast for surfers in Sumatra this week.
The perfect seasonal weather continues in Telo with barely a breath of wind or cloud to be seen so we will be able to continue to prowl the exposed extremities of the island chain in search of Sumatran Summer Gold.
Despite the lackluster wave size forecasts on paper, the weekend has again seen some great beach break and reef break action for kids big and small and if this is “flat”, we will take it all week.
