We love it when the swell report is showing 1-2 ft and the guests at Resort Latitude Zero are scoring glassy head high waves. We don’t want to jinx it but it looks like those relentless southerlies have finally broke. The back half of the week showed plenty of signs of light variable winds that are the norm here in the Telo Islands, Sumatra.
As you can see from the photos we ended the week with a bang, scoring empty lefts and rights around the archipelago. In the afternoon the guests and guides arrived at the resort stoked and salty from the days surf and ready to enjoy a massage in the spa or just laze by the pool with a slushy cocktail.
The coming weeks forecast is showing 2 small pulses pushing up the Indian Ocean. One for early in the week and a slightly bigger one to cap off the week. We hope Huey delivers the goods for the lucky few staying with us this week. We will have a new batch of photos for you on Thursday.
