Although the swell was not as big as originally forecasted, there was enough waves on tap for everyone. The winds were light and variable, which gave us the opportunity to surf the premiere lefts and rights around the island chain. The boys from the northern beaches were absolutely killing it in the tube, while the lads from Melbourne were stepping up their game, sacrificing their boards and bodies and paddling into some bombs. Well done!
The Indian Ocean is starting to show signs of slowing down with the latest forecast showing the first 1-2ft of the month. In the extended forecast we are watching a promising system develop below Africa which should bless us with more surf towards the back half of next week. We will update you on this as it gets closer. Enjoy your weekend and check back with us on Monday to see what is happening in the Telo Islands, Sumatra.
