The season may have officially changed here in the Telo Islands, Sumatra. We had a small swell forecasted for the beginning of the week but it never really materialized for the guests staying here at Resort Latitude Zero. On a positive note the weather has changed. We are finally getting some well needed rain and the wind is light and variable. Since the swell was small the guests took the opportunity to kayak up a pristine river and spotted some beautiful exotic birds and two species of monkeys. This is just one of many non-surf activities that we offer when Huey is sleeping.
We still have our fingers crossed for a small swell to start filling in today and provide us with some waves through Friday. The winds are meant to remain light so we are all looking forward to getting out there for THE SEARCH.
