Thursday morning brought us the swell bump we had been waiting for with waves crashing on the sand in front of Resort Latitude Zero at dawn. The familiar thump that signals “swell is up and it’s going to be a great day in the Telo islands”. Blues sky’s, 4-5ft of perfectly groomed Indian Ocean swell lines and just a light puff of easterly winds set scene for an epic day to remember.
Friday was much the same but slightly smaller. The clean conditions and light winds again giving us plenty of variety in surf breaks to choose from for the day.
Saturday saw the now tired swell bump fizz out to nothing, and with aching muscles a fishing day was called for Sunday with 11 fish boated in just a few hours and even though no surfing, “just another epic day in Sumatra @ Resort Latitude Zero”
