Wave Frequency: 11 Seconds

Welcome back loyal followers. As mentioned in the last surf report, the Indian Ocean is slowing down after a cooking season. I guess it had to happen sooner or later. Luckily, the drop in swell height combined with light winds which opened up our trusty swell magnets.

Along with getting the guests into a few fun waves, the guides went exploring and found a few pristine beaches that absolutely blew the Sydney boys away. The other group decided to go fishing and hands down had one of the better fishing days I have seen at this resort. They caught 2 absolute monster GT’s, quite a few smaller ones , and a beautiful Spanish Mackerel that morning. One of the giants broke the reel about half way in and the boys had to bring it in by hand. Well done! This beautiful paradise is truly what dreams are made of.

The swell forecast looks pretty small for the rest of the week, but there is some light at the end of the tunnel. We should see a small swell by the start of next week. Fingers crossed!
