Solo Surfing

Our week in the Telo islands started out with rain, wind, and a very disorganised ocean.

By Tuesday afternoon, the storm abated, and on Wednesday, we were blessed with an incredible sunrise and a dream-like smooth ocean.

After a few days of solo sessions at Monkeys, we ventured north to the infamous Mishos where we yet again scored a day of empty waves. This session was labelled by one of our repeat guests as the best session he has had in the Telos despite the slight ruffle of wind. I guess that’s what happens when you’re surfing solo.
