We pride ourselves on maintaining our international standard high-powered speedboats in A-grade condition, ensuring you’re safe and comfortable out on the water and have the speed to never miss a session.
Our Marine Fleet Consists Of:
TP1 – 10m fibreglass construction utility design out of Bali with 2 x 175hp Suzuki 4-stroke engines. open plan with plenty of room for all the toys.
TP2 – 10m aluminium construction patrol design custom built in Jakarta with 2 x 200hp 4 cylinder 4-stroke Suzuki engines and fitted out as the ultimate surf weapon to get you to the best waves quickly, comfortably, and in style.
Lady Bima – our 7m “dinghy”. for use around the bay, fishing and loading.
Jetski – used to ferry you to and from the main break out front and provide jetski assist in the lineup when suitable. Give the arms a rest and save the energy = more waves surfed per session.

Latitude Zero Nusa Tenggara is situated in a sub-tropical area of Indonesia with a distinct wet and dry season weather pattern.
January – February fun waves
The wet season drapes the area in vibrant green, with fun sized waves and tranquil lineups. Perfect for cruisy sessions, wellness escapes, and immersing yourself in the raw beauty of the rugged surrounds from the comfort of Latitude Zero Nusa Tenggara.
The Indian Ocean rarely goes flat and those very occasional days can happen at any time of the year, not just limited to the summer months and we often score 4ft swells which is the sweet spot for many surrounding breaks.

We start to see more of those 4-6ft medium-sized swells march up the Indian Ocean. As with almost the entire world – these are great months for surfers and a trip to Latitude Zero Nusa Tenggara at this time of year is no different.

Consistent ground swells originating in the winter Roaring Forties deep in the Southern Ocean regularly drench Indonesia.
Last of the rains for the year.
Trade winds can be problematic, but we often score epic waves in the mornings or cycles when the winds ease.

XXL swells from the higher latitudes will become less frequent as we move into Spring and give way to more manageable 4-6ft swells.

SIMON “SWILLY” WILLIAMS – Simon “Swilly” Williams is considered royalty in the surf industry, having captured classic images which have adorned the covers and pages of so many surfing magazines in the last 20 years. Capturing amazing water imagery, breath taking sequences from the beach and mind blowing photography from helicopters and jet skis. Swilly has worked with some of short board surfing’s greats like world champions Kelly Slater, Mick fanning, Andy Irons, Stephanie Gilmore as well as Joel Parkinson, Dave Rastovitch, Ry Craike through to longboarding legends like Nat Young, Joel Tudor and Harley Inglby.
Swilly has traversed the globe from his base on Australia’s Gold Coast through Indonesia, Philippines, Micronessia, PNG, Maldives and the Australian coastline.

JEREMY RICHARDSON – Jeremy Richardson comes to Latitude Zero after an all-time trip onboard Mangalui Ndulu in 2023 where he captured amazing video footage of surf sessions at each unpredictable and challenging break across Mentawai Islands with consistency and professionalism. With every frame, he skillfully brings to life the raw power and grace of each individual surfer’s highlights and surf stoke no matter what the conditions, immersing viewers in the moment with spectacular cinematography and post shoot editing.

FISHING & DIVING
We love fishing & diving almost as much as surfing.
We take pride in maintaining our quiver of quality gear for you ready to go at anytime.
Casually wet a line trolling on the way home from a surf with a cold Bintang or more enthusiastically target hotspot reefs and drop-offs trolling, casting or free-dive spearing with our guides and marine staff subject to weather and ocean conditions.
Equipment is available for use free of charge anytime for our guests.
If fishing and diving is your chosen passion you can of course bring your own gear. Chat to us for more details on our equipment on how you might be able to lighten the travel load.

If Foiling is your poison we have the expertise, tools and equipment to ensure you are well supported for your foil surfing holiday and any maintenance required along the way.
Fully stocked resort surfboard quiver (40+, including several foil boards) so you don’t have to lug extra equipment across the world just to surf on a few different craft during your holiday.
Fully stocked board room accessories including spare helmets, booties, vests etc
Fully equipped workshop for running repairs and skilled engineer staff to assist.
FOILING WAVES INFORMATION
TIDES – tides can range as much as 3m at Latitude Zero Nusa Tenggara allowing for quality normal surfing and foil surfing on the same reef break at different times of the day.
OUT THE FRONT – We have 2 foiling waves for both tide extremes right in front of the resort.
OTHER KNOWN SURF OPTIONS – if the swell is too small for out front there is several other quality surf spots within 25 minutes speedboat ride that are also perfect for foiling on high tides. These waves pick up almost any swell on the ocean and are just as fun.
THE UNKNOWN REALM – we have miles of offshore fringe reef surrounding Latitude Zero Nusa Tenggara much of it remains untested for surfing or foiling. Be the first to foil an unridden reef pass or corner with jetski assist! We will even let you name it.
PRIME FOILING SEASONS
We have identified these seasons as prime time seasons for anyone interested in foil boarding with or without kites or wings, and great chances for regular surfing epic waves also.
OCTOBER – FEBRUARY are excellent months for foiling at Latitude Zero Nusa Tenggara. Empty line ups, offshore or glassy mornings and a chance for wing foiling or downwiding on the afternoon southwest winds that blow perfectly across the back of the lineup providing cross shore take off area and clean walls as the swell bends into the bay.
AUGUST – SEPTEMBER are also prime time for foiling at Latitude Zero Nusa Tenggara with larger clean swells with generally clean mornings and still opportunity for wing foiling or Down-winding on the seasonal afternoon southeast trade winds.

FAQS
Can I pay staff tips with my card?
Gratuities for our hardworking staff are very welcomed. Unfortunately we cannot process via card or EFTPOS. Please bring cash with you for this. Any major currency in good condition is fine.
I’m not a very competent surfer or haven’t surfed much in 10 years. What are my chances?
There are waves for all levels of surfers in the area, from beginners to world-class barrels for chargers and professionals.
What is the daily surfing situation
Most of our surfing focus is on the point directly in front of the resort. If that is not on then we have other options 30 minute speedboat ride away.
Do I need booties?
It depends on the individual. Booties are a great accessory for surfing over coral reefs but are not essential. They are recommended to avoid small infected scratches on the foot and Latitude Zero Nusa Tenggara does have a rocky shoreline to navigate at low tide.
Do you have a ding repair service?
Yes, prices start from around AUD$15 for an average reef ding.
Do you have spare surfing accessories in case I break a leg rope, etc.?
A small stash of fins and leg ropes are available.
What time is sunrise/sunset?
Roughly 0600hrs and 1830hrs although varies pending the seasons.
How many and what style of boards do you suggest?
It is advisable to pack light due to regional airline cargo capacity. two boards max is sufficient – a fun shorter board, a down the line short board for better days. We have an extensive quiver of resort boards for guest use also.
Do you have fishing gear and snorkeling gear?
Yes, a full range of trolling and spinning rods and reels, plenty of snorkeling gear, and basic spearfishing equipment are available for use while out on the speedboats or from the resort area.
Do you have scuba diving?
No we do not offer scuba diving. Most of the beauty in this area is in the top 5m, and snorkeling is considered sufficient.

What type of food is served?
We offer an electric combination of Western and Indonesian cuisines. Food portions are plentiful.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes we have EFTPOS facilities at Latitude Zero Resorts accepting Visa, Mastercard & Amex. This is our preferred method of payment.
Photos and videos of surfing?
We have a full photography kit. Our guides and marine team will get shots of you surfing during your stay. You will receive a download link via email to all of your complimentary photos at the end of your stay.
Will someone be there to meet us at Bima airport?
Yes, our full Bima logistics team will meet and greet you on arrival into Bima airport and return you to Bima airport after your stay with us.
Communications at the resort?
Latitude Zero has wireless broadband (up to 100mbps) 24hrs a day, also weak satellite mobil phone signal.
Can I buy gifts for my partner and kids at the resort or should I do this on the way through one of the cities?
We have a small gift shop at Latitude Zero selling merchandise, sarongs, jewellery and other thoughtfully selected gifts.
Are the local people Muslim or Christian?
Strict Muslim faith.
What do the locals do for work?
Fishing, farming & seaweed harvesting are main sources of income.
Does it rain much?
Traditional sub-tropical climate with wet season being November – March.
What else is available at the resort if I want to pack light?
Our gift shop includes toothpaste, batteries, flash drives, hats, surf hats, towels, wax, LZ T-shirts, and shirts. We have an extensive board quiver for guest use, provide complimentary laundry service and assorted towels for bathroom, pool & boat use. We also provide day covers for your surfboards.
Do I need protection from malaria?
We fog twice a week, making it a very low risk. We have never had any mosquito born disease issues at Latitude Zero but if you are concerned then please consult your doctor.
Other health concerns?
Some travelers update their Hepatitis, Typhoid & Tetanus shots. Bring a good supply of any regular, specific or prescription drugs you are taking.
Illegal substances?
ABSOLUTELY FORGET IT! Strict penalties for drug possession and trafficking in Indonesia. STRICTLY NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES OF ANY KIND AT OUR RESORTS.
Can I bring duty free alcohol to the resort?
Latitude Zero is fully licensed with a well-stocked and tended bar. All drinks must be purchased through this service.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes, travel insurance is mandatory for all guests staying at the resorts. Please ensure you are FULLY covered for medical evacuation, and check with your family doctor for vaccinations suggested for the South East Asia region.
Do I need an Indonesian visa?
30 day Visa On Arrival (VOA) is available for most foreign country nationals. You can obtain a 60 day visa prior to arrival by visiting your nearest Indonesian embassy’s website.
Do I still get the non-surfing partner and kid discount if they surf?
Yes you do. These discounts are extended to make it more affordable for your family or for those who would like to bring along their partner to share a special holiday while still surfing epic waves.
